«Esta obra es una despedida, un ejercicio de conservación de un momento imposible de revivir. La memoria siempre ha sido una parte intrínseca de mi proceso y de mi trabajo artístico, y con "Desde ahora y desde siempre" mis pensamientos, sentimientos y realización de este interés llega a una conclusión significativa para mí.

Esta obra surgió en el momento en que abandoné, por última vez, la casa de mi tía. En una habitación vacía y silenciosa, una brisa agitó las viejas persianas de la ventana y la llenó de un último aliento de vida y belleza; la luz que danzaba a través de ellas pasó por mis ojos como recuerdos y vislumbres que no puedo recuperar. Este fue el momento en que me despedí.

La obra "Desde ahora y desde siempre" capta este momento. Las formas agitadas por un movimiento invisible, y el espejo detrás reflejando lo que no se puede ver de verdad.

«This artwork is a farewell; an exercise in preserving a moment that is impossible to relive. Memory has always served as an intrinsic piece of my process and my artwork, and with “Desde ahora y desde siempre” my thoughts, feelings, and realization of this interest comes to a significant conclusion for me.

This artwork came from the moment I left, for the last time, the home of my beloved aunt. In an empty and silent room, a breeze stirred the old window shades and filled it with a last breath of life and beauty; the light dancing through passed over my eyes like memories and glimpses I cannot retrieve. This was the moment I said goodbye.
